Prayers ~ 2

"Mam, you have a meeting at 11, business lunch with Kapadias at 2 and a three-hour long shoot, these are all the major events you would be covering today."

Yashi, Niyati's assistant, confirmed the schedule for today. Niyati nodded and asked her to continue her work.

But Niyati's mind was focused on Aadvik and his well being. He had been to international trips all alone and she had never felt this negativity anytime but her heart was restless today.

A dreadful emotion fastened her heart, uncertainty clouded over her mind. She couldn't help her fingers from dialling his phone number.

Two missed calls and he didn't answer any of them.

Fear grew inside her, she didn't knew what kind of fear but she felt suffocated.

Two more rings and yet no words from his side.

"Come on, Aadi, answer the damn call."
She groaned as she dialled once again but nothing.
She threw her phone across the room and the screen got damaged.
Hearing the loud shattering sound Yashi came inside the cabin.

"Mam, are you alright? Please calm down."
She tried to calm her down but in vain.

She was terrified at the moment, never in her life had she seen Niyati getting this angry. Niyati looked at the sky from the glass wall of her cabin.

'He is alright, everything is fine. Don't overthink, he's fine' she chanted in her mind.

"Get me a new phone and transfer all the data into it" she ordered, still facing the sky.

She can't even think of something happening to her brother. He is not just her brother but he is her idol, father figure, best friend, and whatnot. He is her twin, her other form.

'He has to be fine'. She said almost in a whisper.

"Mam.." Yashi said.

"Yashi, go get the phone fixed, why are you here till now?" She scolded.

" Mam, it's Aadvik sir's call" she said.

Niyati turned around immediately and took the phone in her hand.

" Niti, 5 missed calls? Are you alright? And why is your phone unreachable? "
He asked, concerned. His sister wasn't someone who would call more than twice if not important.

Niyati let out the breath that was stuck in her throat for so long as she sighed in relief. His voice was like an ointment for her anxious heart.

" Where were you? Do you know how worried I was when you were not picking up my calls." She scolded him.

" Ohh My , little one I'm fine. I was inside the temple and my phone was in the locker. How could I have answered you? You are worried for nothing and stop behaving like a scrupulous wife. " He taunted her by making her pout as she realized she was being really anxious over a small thing.

"Now don't pout and don't worry I'm fine, what could happen to me in the presence of Krishna?" he stated as if he could watch her pouting across the phone.

" Take care and answer my calls on time okay? " She said and he nodded but surprisingly she knew he did that.
Maybe cryptophasia, twins' telepathy.

Laboratory:

Erica was transferring some data into the phone which was connected to her laptop.

After the transmission of the data she took the screwdriver and started fixing the phone.
Niyati entered her laboratory with two cups of coffee in her hands.

"I didn't know you're opening a mobile shop soon." She taunted.

"Haha, really funny. " Said Erica, still focusing on her work.
Niyati brought a chair next to Erica and sat beside her.

"What's that?" She questioned.

Erica turned to her, finally completing her work and smiled broadly taking the coffee from her hands.

"Well… it's the Kaal chakra phone" Erica said casually.

"A Kaal what?" She repeated.

Erica laughed briefly and said-
"The Kaal Chakra phone, it enables you to text anyone from any yug(era)."
Erica explained to her as she had her mouth opened wide.

"What the fluff are you talking about?"
She asked in disbelief.

"It is true!" Erica affirmed. Niyati shook her head in disbelief though she knew these crackheads can make the impossible turn possible.

A/N :

I know that these experiments and inventions are kind of unrealistic but who cares when this is how i wanted to present it.

Thought it would add a fun element so added it.
